Most of us connect September with the end of summer and the start of something new, be it school, a change of season, a faster pace, or new projects at work. At Sign of the Dove, September brings new Artists of the Month: Judy Kanigel and Sholeh Regna.
Judy Kanigel’s colorful pottery is inspired by Italian ceramics and often shows images of fruit or flowers. She uses a carving technique called sgraffito to add detail and texture, and loves to challenge herself with new techniques and items, now including ceramic jewelry.
Multitalented Sholeh Regna shows her jewelry, sculpture, and monoprints at our gallery. Her bird sculptures, perfect for hanging on the wall, are loved by customers. Her porcelain earrings with their 22-K Gold and White Gold luster are the elegant touch for a dressy occasion, and her lightweight marbled birch wood earrings are one-of-a-kind and reversible.
